ABOUT ME
Ever since I was very little I’ve had a real attraction to color. I love bright vibrant colors, deep jewel tones and also appreciate earthy neutrals. There’s something about the way colors can make you feel that fascinates me, it speaks to me.
I am a multi-media artist. I primarily use acrylic paint, but somehow other types of media always find their way in. I love the organic flow of fluid art and how resin makes everything come to life. I am mostly happy creating abstracts, although I do play around with figurative styles as well. I guess you could say I’m an eclectic artist!
I am from Hawaii, the island of Oahu was my home till my 30’s. We moved to Reno, Nevada in 1997 and I love it here too! The mountains are a great source of inspiration. I’ve attended various art classes and workshops in Hawaii and here in Reno. I attended Truckee Meadows Community College where I studied Fine Art. I enjoy sharing the joy of art by teaching various classes such as alcohol ink, acrylic paint, and much more.
I love it when people realize that they too are creative!
I want people to feel the energy of the colors I use, to awaken the imagination, and share the joy and freedom that art gives us.
